Velora is a 40cm-tall emotionally intelligent robot companion designed from the ground up to feel like a living, breathing plush toy.

Unlike typical robots, Velora has a soft premium plush exterior, gentle haptics that simulate breathing and a heartbeat, and an advanced multimodal emotional intelligence model that can recognize and respond to human feelings in real time.

THE IDEA

A friend you can hold.
A presence that understands.

Velora doesn't just react to commands. It listens to tone of voice, observes interaction patterns, and builds a persistent emotional model of the person it bonds with. Over weeks and months it develops personality, inside jokes, and genuine care.
At night it can enter a soft presence mode — gentle breathing, slow heartbeat simulation, and a faint warm glow that makes a room feel less empty. It is designed for people who live alone, elderly users, or anyone who needs a non-judgmental companion.
